Dear God
If I am to write about you?
What should I truly tell them?
Do I speak of the days you knew me before I was formed
Or
Do I confess the ungodly decisions I made even though I was informed
Do I tell them you healed me
But still questioned you
When my friend didn’t pull through
Or do I encourage them that all things happen for the good of they that trust in you
Do I testify of the times goodness, mercy and I got to meet
Or do I confess that I have fallen short of your glory
More times than I would ever admit
If I am to write them back on the right path
Will I be among the listeners of my own words
Or will I be a Moses
Who leads people to a promised land that he himself will never step on
I agree, I promised
To write to them about you
To let my ink flow for you
But God
If I am to write
What should be the true reflection of the words I pen down?
